The Drainage Division of Shahjahanpur Nagar Panchayat basically works for providing better quality of life to citizens of their municipal area. For this purpose, it undertakes and administers the process of transferring the sewerage from domestic and industrial establishments of the city to the treatment plants, treating it and then disposing it properly.
